Your file is read in this browser, and its text is sent to LessonLayer's AI provider to build the lesson: for PowerPoint, the text on each slide, and the speaker notes only if you include them above (notes can hold remarks meant only for you, such as reminders or students' names). Hidden slides are skipped. Images, video and embedded files are left out, so large decks work (up to 300 MB; text files up to 25 MB). Please do not upload student personal data.

You review the lesson before anything reaches students.

Lessons are paid from your department's prepaid AI balance, at the AI provider's cost with no markup. A lesson is charged when it is built and ready to use, whether or not you download it, so a lesson that fails or is blocked costs nothing. A lesson that needs your decision first is charged when you first download it. A free trial lesson costs you nothing.
